Software Q/A Intern– ERG – Shanghai
   
Cisco ERG Introduction（Chinese）:

ERG专注于下一代平台和业务的开发测试。

Cisco ERG Introduction（English）: 

Cisco, is the worldwide leader in networking that transforms how 
people connect, communicate and collaborate. Today, networks are an 
essential part of business, education, government and home 
communications, and Cisco's Internet networking solutions are the 
foundation of these networks. 

The ENG Routing Group delivers best-in-class middle range routing 
products and solutions for enterprise & service provider customers. 
Cisco R&D Center(China) ERG is focusing on Cisco next generation 
platforms development and test. 

We are seeking software Q/A interns to test L2/L3 software features 
and NGIO modules on Cisco IOS-XE based product families (ASR1000, 
CSR1000v, ISR4400).

Responsibilities:
• Fully engaged in the process of software development test, system 
test and sustaining test and automation test.
• Responsible for creating, debugging and refining automation scripts 
used in software regression test.
• Working on IOS-XE router products and solutions, setting up and 
troubleshooting feature/regression/performance testbeds.
• Develop tools to support function/system/performance test.
• Support lab administration.

Requirements:
• Available immediately, and able to work 3 days a week for at least 
6 months
• Good knowledge of TCP/IP network and protocols, good knowledge of 
routing and switching. 
• Hands-on experience on Linux operation systems.
• Programming experience with any one of C, Tcl/Expect, Python, Perl,
 or Unix/Linux Shell 
• Ability to learn new technologies quickly
• Highly motivated and with good communication skills in Mandarin 
and English, oral and written
• Able to work independently and in a team environment efficiently
• Majored in Telecommunication, CS, EE, and other IT related majors
 preferred.

Educational Background：
• Typically requires CS, EE, and other IT related majors
